Download Offline Update Files

While it is recommended to let EditVoicepack download updates automatically using the online update system, it is also possible to download a file to update EditVoicepack on a computer not connected to the Internet. Updates will be made available at the same time for offline or online update, and they will always contain the same updates.

The latest update for EditVoicepack version 3.0 or newer can be downloaded here:

Updates for EditVoicepack 2.2, supporting Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 is no longer being created. The last update can be downloaded here. It was released 2003-08-03.

Installing the offline update file

To install the update, please follow these steps:

  1. Download the file and store it on a floppy or similar media where it can be moved to the computer with EditVoicepack. You do not have to zip the file - it is already compressed.
  2. Start EditVoicepack.
  3. Select "About..." in the "Help" menu.
  4. Press the "Offline Update..." button.
  5. Select the downloaded file and press "Open".
  6. Select "Save" from the "File" menu.

Offline Update Archive

This list contains all the offline updates that has been made available for reference only. It is not necessary to download any of these files - in fact, EditVoicepack will only allow you to install update files newer than the last update you installed (offline or online).
